How YOU Can Help

Equestrian Leader Helps the Parks
with "Horses For Parks" Program

To help protect America’s Parklands, Carol Dean-Porter, well-known show jumper competitor and "R" licensed horse show judge initiated a "Horses for Parks" program.

"We are facilitating sale of horses and donating the proceeds to a charitable organization. National Park Trust is committed to protecting park lands. Through the "Horses For Parks" program we hope to help save the endangered inholdings in the national and state park systems."

Carol lives in Rolling Hills Estates, California in the Los Angeles area. Please contact Carol Dean-Porter at (310) 487-1490 or at JumprHigh@aol.com

We are accepting horses, trailers, trucks, tack and equipment as donation.

The animal must be in good health and rideable except in the case of registered brood quality mares. We are not a rescue organization and cannot accept horses which are unsound or known to have dangerous vices.

The equipment must be in useable condition.

Your donation will benefit National Park Trust and will be tax deductible. Your horse will find a good and useful home! Your equipment and other tack will be sold to benefit our National Parks.

We also now have an East Coast representative, Nick Nichols.

Nick is located in North Carolina and is accepting horses and tack donations of all kinds. You may reach him at RazorDogNick@aol.com.
