Collin - pictured here with his Buddy - spent a month at NPT as an intern before graduating from The Sidwell Friends School in June. Most of his time was spent working on Buddy Bison's google map, and on Buddy's Facebook page.

Right after graduation, he left for the Grand Canyon for a 10-day Wilderness First Responder training, where he learned about paramedics and wilderness rescue. Of the training, he says that he (and Buddy) "feels confident taking the skills I learned from the class into the wilderness." He'll be freshman at Colorado College this fall and plans to major in Environmental Science.
