All seven of Minnesota?s bats live in Southeastern Minnesota?s blufflands. Recent reports confirm that many of our local little brown bats have been exposed to the deadly White Nose Syndrome. What does this mean for our bats? Surveying bat populations will be a vital tool in monitoring the future health of local bat populations. Join us at the visitor center amphitheater for a presentation before we divide into groups to count bats as they leave their daytime roosts throughout the park. Bring transportation.
