Where's Buddy Bison Been?™

Buddy Bison is your travel companion to America's parks and public lands and water. Buddy Bison is NPT's pint-sized wooly mascot that encourages everyone to "explore outdoors, the parks are yours!" Take Buddy Bison to a park in your community or to a national or state park, Army Corps site, wildlife refuge or forest. On land or on water, take him along!

We want to know: Where's Buddy Bison Been?®

Send your photos from your park adventure to buddy@buddybison.org so we can add it to Buddy's google map. Your picture may be selected for our monthly student newsletter, Buddy Bison's Buzz! Or send us a photo for Buddy's facebook page. Buddy even likes to twitter!

If your child, grandchild, niece or nephew, etc sends us a brief (one or two paragraphs) of their park experience, he/she may be selected to be Buddy Bison's Adventurer of the Month and could win a Buddy Bison T-shirt and official certificate! Send us photos, videos, stories, artwork, or creative writing! Please note that everything sent to NPT and Buddy Bison can be used for educational purposes on our website and in our printed materials.

For free resources, check out the Parents and Teachers sites at buddybison.org.

Remember, when you purchase your own Buddy Bison, you help NPT send an underserved kid to a park. All proceeds from sales benefit our Kids to Parks National Scholarship Fund. To learn more: email Billy Schrack, NPT Education Director, william@parktrust.org or call 301-279-7275.
