William (Billy) Schrack

Director of Youth Programs

Billy was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age, fishing and exploring parks with his family. This was instrumental in his choice to join NPT in 2011.

Billy attended the University of Delaware earning a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education with a concentration in middle school science, followed by a Master of Science degree from the University of Long Island, where he studied earth science. He gained vital experience teaching in the NYC public school system where he learned about the challenges and rewards of working in under-served communities.

During his time at NPT, Billy has overseen the rapid expansion of our youth programs including the Buddy Bison School Program, which currently engages more than 60 Title 1 schools across the country with their local, state and national parks and Kids to Parks Day.
