In partnership with NIPSCO, NPT has acquired 30 acres of land surrounding the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Visitor Center. The land will be donated to NPS this September. Read More.

National Park Trust is pleased to announce the election of Charles Pardoe (left), Christopher Graham and Ann Gaultieri to its Board of Trustees.

New Outdoor Classroom at Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary in Saint Paul, MN
"It may have been a chilly, rainy day, but the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary was warmed with beaming smiles from the many neighbors, supporters and friends who celebrated the dedication of the new outdoor classroom this past Saturday afternoon," stated Sue Vento, NPT Leadership Council member.
"I know that Bruce would be so humbled and excited and would have been itching to start right in with a lesson or two. His family and I are so grateful to National Park Trust for its years of support for the Sanctuary and for its work to make the outdoor classroom a reality. The Sanctuary is a wonderful urban jewel that for generations to come will provide educational opportunities for learners of all age."
This month, NPT welcomed Beacon Heights Elementary in Riverdale, MD into our Buddy Bison environmental education program thanks to a generous grant from Pepco.
