Emily’s love of nature is rooted in the idea that outdoor experiences can exist in both small, local green-spaces and in the vast wilds of our National Park System. Emily is a Maryland native, who was lucky enough to spend her childhood summers roaming the mountains and lakeshores of New Hampshire and Maine. Emily received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont in 2015, with minor in Geography. Emily has worked as an environmental educator in Vermont and Maryland. She has taught in classroom, outdoor, and museum settings.
Emily currently works as an Education Coordinator for the National Park Trust. Emily works with approximately 20 schools in Maryland, Washington, DC, California, Kansas, Texas, New York, and Minnesota.
