National Kids to Parks Day at Lake Anna State Park
May 19 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Touch Table: Look for the park rangers stationed by our special event location near the playground. We’ll be there for all the fun with some really cool things from our Visitor Center on display. Pet a skunk or a snake, explore the local geology and even pan for gold. You never know what the rangers will have with them for you to explore, so be sure to stop by.
Roving Ranger: One of our rangers will be roving the lakefront and you never know what they’ll have with them. Stop them to find out, it could be a fox or beaver fur, cool rocks, a live snake or turtle or even a flint and steel demonstration! Be sure to look for the Roving Ranger.
Both programs are free and will be accessible outside the special event area.
As an extra bonus each family with kids will get a return park visit pass to use for a future visit.
